OK Titans, we’re planning a 60th reunion from October 17th through October 19th, 2025. As usual we’re invited our friends from the classes of 1962-1968 to join our celebration. In addition, the classes of ’75 and ’85 are celebrating their reunions on the same weekend so it will be busy in Poway.
We have arranged for rooms at the Best Western in Poway for $109 plus taxes for rooms with a single king size bed, or $119 plus taxes for a room with two queen sized beds. Call the motel directly at (858) 748-6320 and ask for Sam. To get the group rate tell Sam our group code: Poway High School 1965 Reunion. If you want to arrive earlier than the 17th, the motel will honor the reduced rate for your additional day(s).
Several of us plan to play golf on Friday the 17th. If you’d like to take part in golf, and are coming from out of town, you may want to check into the motel on Thursday night.
Prior to the homecoming football game on Friday night, the Titan Hall of Fame and Museum will be open starting around 4:30-5:00. They will have students available to provide tours of the school as well.
The classes of ’65, ’75, and ’85 will all be honored at the homecoming football game. We will be honored guests so there will be no charge for our attendance at the football game. (Note: at our 50th reunion we threw Kelly green Nerf footballs to the students and they loved it! Guess what? It is now a tradition! Thank you Nancy (Green) Wilson for that great idea! The alumni Association is buying the balls (we’re buying more!) and will give them to the reunion participants to throw to the students after we’ve been honored on the field.) If you like, you may attend the ceremony and leave prior to the game.
On Saturday evening we will have a no-host party at the VFW. Fred Johnson (class of ’68) will be our DJ. The VFW will provide hamburgers and hotdogs to those who want to eat. The price should be about $13 or $14 dollars and will include condiments, beans and potato salad.
On Sunday the Alumni Association is having their annual picnic at Lake Poway. It is a BYOE (not catered; Bring Your Own Everything!).

Will you need to book a room? (We need to know how many to reserve at the reduced rate!)

Will you attend the Saturday evening event at the Poway VFW? Do you think you will order food? How many orders?
Will you attend the Alumni Association picnic at Lake Poway? How many people? Or would you prefer a catered BBQ picnic for just our group like we’ve done in the past?
