Heather Myers, Class of 1997, is a television news journalist and is currently the news anchor for KFMB-TV. Heather is the recipient of nine Emmy Awards and two Associated Press Awards.

Heather Myers delivers the news to San Diegans weekdays on CBS 8 at noon and also on the FOUR at 4 p.m. This native San Diegan brings her journalistic experience, versatility and knowledge of our county to San Diego Monday through Friday.
Heather originally joined CBS News 8 in 2003 as reporter/fill-in anchor, covering some of San Diego and Southern California’s largest stories, including the 2003 and 2007 wildfires. In 2007, she moved to San Diego 6 News as weeknight co-anchor, then morning anchor/host. In 2015, Heather returned to CBS 8.
Born in San Diego, Heather is a proud graduate of Poway High School and San Diego State University, where she earned a degree in journalism. As a distinguished journalist, Heather is the recipient of nine Emmy Awards and two Associated Press Awards. She also shares her passion and commitment with several community organizations.
Heather is also a licensed real estate agent and together with her husband, Tyler Snyder, the couple owns The Snyder Real Estate Group. Heather covers real estate news and property tours all over San Diego County on her social media pages which obtain millions of views per month.
A doting mom, Heather enjoys spending her time with her husband and their two sons ages 11 and 13. “When the workday is done, I rush home to be with my boys. You’ll most likely find us at a baseball field or ice hockey rink. On the weekends our boys have lots of sports games and we love cheering on the Padres or the San Diego Gulls hockey team."
