Susan Meissner
We gratefully acknowledge the outstanding achievements that Susan Meissner has made in the area of Arts. Described by Publishers Weekly as a “stunning storyteller”, Susan is a bestselling author of historical fiction with more than half a million books in print in fifteen languages. A former managing editor of a weekly newspaper and an award-winning columnist, Susan has authored 17 novels, including A Fall of Marigolds, Secrets of a Charmed Life, Stars over Sunset Boulevard, A Bridge Across the Ocean, As Bright as Heaven, and The Last Year of War, along with the Rachael Flynn and The Men of Lancaster County series. Susan attended Point Loma Nazarene University and is a writing workshop volunteer for Words Alive, a San Diego non-profit dedicated to helping at-risk youth foster a love for reading and writing.
