Bill Edwards is being honored for his outstanding achievements in Public Service and Business. After graduating from San Diego State University, Colonel Edwards was commissioned in the United States Army. During his 30-year career, Colonel Edwards served in numerous leadership positions and in combat operations. Highly decorated, he was awarded two Bronze Stars for valor. His career as an expert in operational/technical security, counter-terrorism, and counter-intelligence culminated when he served as the Director of Intelligence for Theater Special Operations Command-North. Since his military retirement, Colonel Edwards has served as a senior corporate executive and has authored a book and dozens of articles on security and leadership.
