Sharon Fatzinger-Gruber

We gratefully acknowledge the outstanding achievements that Sharon Fatzinger-Gruber has made in the area of Community Service.  As Director of the Miss Poway Scholarship Pageant, Sharon educates young women between the ages of 12 and 24 on the benefits and responsibilities of community service and leadership.  Her Scholarship Pageant winners – members of the Miss Poway Court - serve as goodwill ambassadors for the City of Poway, volunteering at a variety of civic and charitable events in Poway as well as the greater San Diego region. Sharon supports the growth and development of young women, seeing the Scholarship Pageant as a unique opportunity for female students to improve their public speaking skills, form new friendships, and boost their self-esteem.  Her community service contributions also include the Poway Kiwanis Club and the Poway Lions Club.  Sharon graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Art.
