We gratefully acknowledge the outstanding achievements that Ami Doshi has made in the area of Science.  A nationally recognized pediatric hospitalist and palliative medicine physician at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, Dr. Doshi also serves as an associate clinical professor of Pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine in the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.   Dr. Doshi’s career-long interest in palliative medicine focuses on addressing the suffering of young patients with advanced diseases and providing the comprehensive support their families need and deserve.   She mentors and educates UC San Diego medical students, as well as pediatric hospital medicine fellows and pediatric residents at UC San Diego and the Navy Medical Center.  After earning her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology at the University of Southern California, Dr. Doshi completed her medical training at UC Irvine and her pediatric residency and pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at UC San Diego.
